WOMEN'S MINISTRY

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."

Proverbs 31:25

Welcome, Ladies! At Parkway, the goal of our Women's Ministry is to come alongside women from all walks of life and engage and equip them to walk with Jesus. Single or married, children or none, young adult or a seasoned woman, we look forward to joining with God in His work in your life. The Women's Ministry is facilitated through a team of ladies who desire to serve the Lord through serving the Parkway body and community.

Summer Sisters

Summer Sisters is a wonderful opportunity for the women of Parkway to get to know each other through different fun events, gatherings, and studies - and to invite others, some who may not be connected with Parkway or a home church, to join in on the fun!

Outreach Opportunities

We're excited about the possibility to meet needs & bless others. This year we will focus on a new outreach opportunity for each month. Stay tuned for more details about each ministry opportunity. We pray that you'll join us!

“Execute justice for the fatherless, and the widow and love the sojourner, giving him food and clothing.”
Deuteronomy 10:22

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDies

This Fall the Women's Ministry Team will have a study on Wednesday evenings and Thursday mornings.
Check out the details below.
MULTI-GENERATIONAL

Wednesday, 6-7:30pm at Grange Hall.
Led by Melissa Futrell.  Childcare available.
(We do not meet the
First Wednesday of the month.)

Starting September 10th we will be studying Revelation by Jen Wilkin.  Perhaps no other book of the Bible feels as inaccessible and as intimidating to us as the very last one. The book of Revelation overflows with images and ideas that confound our modern ears. But if all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Why don’t we see it that way?

Books will be available to purchase
at class for $15.
YOUNG MOM'S

Thursdays, 10a-12pm at Parkway.
Led by Elaine Hanger.  Childcare available.

Starting September 18th we will meet with other young moms and seasoned mentors to be encouraged and grow in your faith. We will be  studying a book called “Habits of the Household” by Justin Whitmel Earley. You long for tender moments with your children--but do you ever find yourself too busy to stop, make eye contact, and say something you really mean? Daily habits are powerful ways to shape the heart--but do you find yourself giving in to screen time just to get through the day? You want to parent with purpose--but do you know how to start?

You will need to purchase the book below.
MULTI-GENERATIONAL

Thursdays, 10a-12pm at Parkway.
Led by Leslie Fitzgerald. Childcare available.

Starting October 2nd we will be doing “Tracing His Promise”, by Donna Amidon. While the stories of Jesus in the New Testament may feel like familiar friends, the ancient tales of the Old Testament can seem daunting and distant. But fear not, for within this audiobook lies a treasure trove waiting to be discovered—a promise that echoes from the beginning of time to the humble cradle in Bethlehem.
I’m so looking forward to gathering around the Word with you again! Hope you can all make it.

You will need to purchase the book below.
