Parkway members have a heart for special needs within our church but also for the people in our community.
We are growing in our ability to provide encouragement and community to those facing particular challenges, concerns, or opportunities.

Embrace Grace is a judgment free bible-based support group for women facing unplanned pregnancies. We will come together with for weekly food and fellowship, walk through a simple 12 week study, and offer practical and emotional support. These ladies will be brought into community and celebrated at the end of the semester with a baby shower.

For First Responders - This group provides a faith-based trauma healing course and an online community open to anyone looking to move forward from trauma and tragedy into a better future. Meetings are weekly on Tuesday at 6:30pm at Parkway from September 8 to December 1.  Join us upstairs in the Worship Center.

Join in a group that understands the joys, challenges, and issues of foster care and adoption.

A little bit about us. We are a blended family and have been married for 15 years and attending Parkway for 16 years. We have been fostering for about 8 years. We currently have 7 kids: Kris has 23 year old biological twin boys, I have 2 biological girls 21 and 19, and we adopted a 6 year old 2 years ago. We have had her since she was 6 months old. We are also currently fostering 2 girls one is 8 months old and a 13 year old. We have fostered 7 kids over the last 8 years, a lot have been long term placements. We have also provided respite for 4 kids.

We have been hosting a faith based foster care/adoption support group for the past year in our home in Collington subdivision. The group is for those that are fostering, have adopted, or are interested. We are currently going through the book “Filled" by Jamie C. Finn.

The group meets every other Sunday starting September 13 at 3:00pm at the Stewart's house to discuss helpful resources, pray together, and fellowship as families. Snacks and childcare are provided.  This group is open to all churches.

Held is a ministry gathering for women navigating infertility or loss—a place to be held by community, prayer, and God’s presence. Whether your journey is recent or long-held, you will find welcome here. The group meets monthly for a meaningful time of sharing, prayer, and fellowship.
