Dear Parkway Family and Friends,

Time change Sunday!  November 6th!  Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to join you at Parkway.  We are planning a great day for you and yours to worship together.  Each of our age-group ministries and our Bible Study ministries are planning for a great Sunday morning.  Take advantage of that 'extra hour' and invest it in worshipping the Lord!

Thanksgiving season.  Please make plans for our Annual Thank You Banquet the Friday evening before Thanksgiving and take note of the "Turkey Bowl" football game our student ministry and young adult ministry are sponsoring.  I am so thankful for the many servants of Christ that bless so many on Sunday and throughout the week!  Thank you for serving the Lord for His glory.  Thank you for your faithful giving and service to the Lord's work.  Our church leadership is working on our 2012 ministry plan and budget as well as looking ahead as we mark 10 years of ministry in 2012.

New sermon series starts Sunday, November 6th.  I am planning what I pray will be a very timely sermon series from a small book in the Old Testament with a big message for us today!  Have you ever asked: Where is God when I need Him?  Why isn't He doing anything about the injustices that threaten His people?  Is He even fair? Or trustworthy? Does God leave sin unpunished?   Will I get through ___________ (you fill in the blank)?  The prophet Habakkuk asked some of life's toughest questions.  Perhaps you relate in some way to Habakkuk's question.  That's great!  Go ahead and ask God - His Word delivers answers to both Habakkuk's and your genuine search.  Be encouraged and challenged in this four message series as current as the evening news.  Times may change, but God never does.

Please be prayerful and Christ-honoring as we exercise our duty and responsibility with an Election Day this month.  Also, let's continue to be in prayer for our nation and all levels of officials  As you will see in the Habakkuk sermon series, Our God is Soverign!
