New to Parkway Meet our Pastor

Hello!

My name is Brian Autry and I am the Senior Pastor at Parkway Baptist Church.

On behalf of the Parkway family, thank you for taking time to visit Parkway’s web site. My wife Jennifer and I live in the Foxcroft subdivision along with our three children: Melissa (11), Mark (8), and Jenna (3). I graduated from James Madison University and have received degrees from both Southeastern and Southern Baptist Theological Seminaries.

My number one desire as pastor is not to impress you with words or a slick-looking web site but to point you to Jesus Christ, the One who can reconcile you to God. As you learn more about our church, my hope is that you will see that our heartbeat is to bring glory to the one true God. If you show up on Sunday, you’ll hear a Bible-based sermon that seeks to have practical application to your lives. You’ll hear blended music that seeks to exalt Jesus Christ. As a guest was leaving a worship service several years back, he commented that everyone in the service seemed to be about Jesus. That represents our heartbeat and our passion.
