About Us History

Our relatively short history includes many ‘God’ moments, things inexplicable apart from God’s hand of grace. In March of 2002, with Brian Autry as pastor, 13 families from Swift Creek Baptist Church in Midlothian, VA were called out to start a church plant in Moseley, VA. Meeting in a local elementary school cafeteria, God began to build His church. In 2003, 37.5 acres of land was anonymously donated to Parkway less than a mile from the elementary school it was meeting in. In 2006, we began meeting on our current church campus at 8508 Beaver Bridge Rd.

The rest is history, “His story”. From our founding in 2002, God has given Pastor Brian and the members of Parkway family a vision of reaching our neighbors and nations for Christ. God continues to provide both the people and the resources to fulfill the Great Commission. God continues to do “more than we can ask or imagine.”
